Independent American Party candidate gets record campaign violation fine…

Independent American Party candidate gets record campaign violation fine… in Nevada.

Multiple media sources in Nevada are reporting the Independent American Party candidate for Washoe County clerk, Zachary Triggs was hit with a huge fine.

The LasVegasSun.com report says a Carson City District Judge fined Triggs $54,303 for failing to file required reports. The judge got that total from: $15,000 in civil penalties for failing to file the reports, $33,369 in attorneys’ fees and $5,934 in interest.

Secretary of State Ross Miller says he believes the previous penalty record was $37,000.

To make it even worse, Triggs lost the race only getting 20-percent of the vote.

Taking a stand with guns...

Taking a stand with guns... around the nation. The Independent American Party is reveling in a few recent moves to open-up gun rights.

A newsletter from Independent American Party National Chairman Will Christensen speaks of the “good news” of the U.S. House of Representatives bill repealing the gun ban on National Park Service land and wildlife refuges.

Christensen continues to write, “Following Montana’s lead, four states have introduced bills in their legislatures challenging federal authority to regulate guns under the interstate commerce clause of the U.S. Constitution… would be exempt (states) from federal laws and regulation.”

The gun section of the news letter is highlighted by the saying: Firearms in the hands of a free people are a threat only to tyrants.
